Age provides an initial guide. For secondary students and adults, a free in-person level assessment with no obligation helps us suggest suitable options.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Clear answers,
before you begin.
Prices, levels, enrolment contracts, payments and how the academy works. If your question is not listed, message us and we will help.
Yes. All our fees are published on our prices page, including what each fee covers and what is paid separately.
For 2026–2027, the initial enrolment fee is €30 for new students and renewal is €15 for students who completed the whole previous year. For 2027–2028 these will be €35 and €25.
Renewal only applies to students who stayed enrolled until the official end date of the previous course. If the course ends in June and the student leaves in May or earlier, rejoining later counts as initial enrolment.
Yes. Families from parent associations (AMPAs) with an agreement get 50% off the applicable enrolment fee. Ask us if yours is included.
Yes. When siblings are enrolled at the academy, we apply a discount of €5 per month per student.
No. Books for annual courses are ordered separately, and students need the required materials within their first two weeks. Materials are included for intensive courses and online classes.
Monthly fees are paid between the 1st and the 10th of each month. September and June are charged at 50% of the usual fee.
Because fees are annualised: they are calculated over the whole year, not the exact number of classes in each month. Months with holidays or short weeks don’t change the fee, and September and June already have a 50% fee.
A returned direct debit does not cancel the payment and carries a €5 administration charge, payable together with the outstanding fee.
Absences, whether justified or not, do not give the right to a refund, discount or make-up class. If you know you’ll be away, let us know so we can take it into account.
You can ask, and we’ll assess it based on available places, the student’s level and how the groups are running. If the change means a different fee, the difference applies.
We keep groups small so every student gets proper attention. The exact number depends on the course, the level and available places.
We organise groups by level, age and number of students. If a group cannot open or continue, we’ll let you know and suggest other timetable or format options.
Withdrawal must be notified in writing, by email or WhatsApp, directly to the academy. To take effect the following month, tell us before the 25th; notices from the 25th onwards take effect from the second month.
Yes. We prepare students for Trinity ISE exams at B1, B2 and C1. See Trinity preparation for details.
No. Official exam fees are set by Trinity and paid separately, within the deadline we give you.
Results are decided by the examining body. We help you understand the result and plan the next steps, such as sitting the exam again in a later session.
Yes. We offer private and group online classes for all ages and levels. See online classes and private classes.
No. Completing and signing the enrolment contract formalises your child’s registration; it does not make a payment. Payment is a separate step.
Select “Request a place” and tell us what you need. We will discuss the group, level and available times with you. Once we have agreed a place, you can formalise the registration by signing the enrolment contract.
Yes, once you have spoken to us about your group or place. You can complete and sign the enrolment contract online at your own pace, save your details and continue later. You will receive a copy by email. Completing the enrolment form is not a payment. It means signing the contract that formalises your child’s place.
Simply English will review the details, contract and applicable payment. You will receive confirmation when the process is complete.
Enrolment stays valid while the student remains enrolled. For each new year you renew, during the first teaching week of September, if the previous year was completed.
Annual courses start in September and end in June, following the school calendar. Adult groups run from October to May, and intensive courses from late June to early August.
You can meet them on our About us page. All our teachers are bilingual native speakers or trained English teachers with a near-native level.
We never say no to a party! At Halloween we go trick-or-treating with the students, some groups learn Christmas songs, and we also organise student trips.
Yes. Speak to reception and we’ll arrange a time with the teacher or the director to go over any questions you have.
